Smart Delivery Limited (“Talabatey,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the Price Printer application (“App”) for authorized Talabatey employees and personnel.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to users.
1. Information We Process
The App may process the following information:
- Employee account information: employee ID, account profile, assigned market or branch, roles, and permissions.
- Authentication information: login credentials are transmitted to our systems to authenticate the user. The password is not stored by the App after authentication. An authentication token may be stored on the device to maintain the user’s session.
- Operational information: barcode searches, product information, price-printing activity, inventory verification, order activity, invoice information, purchase suggestions, and related work actions.
- Photos: invoice or delivery-confirmation photos selected from the photo library or captured using the camera. Photos are uploaded only when the user chooses to attach them to an order or invoice.
- Printer information: the name and address of a selected Zebra or compatible printer may be stored locally on the device.
- Technical information: network information, error details, and other diagnostic information that may be generated while operating or securing the service.
2. How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Authenticate authorized employees.
- Provide access based on assigned roles and permissions.
- Display product, pricing, inventory, order, and invoice information.
- Print price labels and invoices.
- Process inventory checks and operational updates.
- Upload invoice and delivery-confirmation images.
- Maintain security, prevent unauthorized access, and investigate errors.
- Support, operate, and improve the App and related internal systems.
- Comply with applicable legal and operational requirements.
The App does not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
3. Camera, Photos, and Bluetooth
The App may request permission to use:
- Camera: to scan product barcodes and capture invoice or delivery-confirmation photos.
- Photo library: to select an existing invoice or delivery-confirmation photo.
- Bluetooth: to locate and communicate with supported printers.
These permissions are used only when required by the relevant feature. Permissions can be changed through the device’s Settings application, although disabling them may prevent certain features from working.
4. Information Sharing
We may share information only with:
- Authorized Talabatey personnel who require it for business operations.
- Service providers that host, maintain, secure, or support our systems.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by applicable law.
- Parties involved in protecting Talabatey, its employees, users, or systems from fraud, misuse, or security threats.
We do not sell personal information. Service providers receiving information must protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Data Storage and Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
Authentication tokens, account details, application preferences, and saved printer information may be stored locally on the device. Operational records and uploaded photos may be stored on Talabatey systems or systems operated by authorized service providers.
No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as necessary to operate the App, maintain business and employment records, meet security, audit, contractual, and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary according to the type of information and applicable obligations. Authorized users may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting us. Certain information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, employment, or legitimate business purposes.
Users may clear locally stored session information by signing out or removing the App.
7. Employee and Internal Use
The App is intended for authorized Talabatey employees and personnel. Information processed through the App may form part of Talabatey’s internal operational and employment records.
Users must not upload unrelated personal information or use the App for unauthorized purposes.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is an internal business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or use the App.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published with an updated effective date.
